Designing Wingman: A Social App for Shared Interests & Real-Time Discovery
Wingman aimed to help people discover one another through shared activities, geo-beaconing, and in-person meetups. I was brought in to translate a loose, early concept into a functional product foundation—defining flows, information architecture, and the core interaction model that shaped the app’s behavior.

Foundations
Establishing the UX & IA Structure
Discovery to Definition — Translated a vague product idea into wireframes that defined onboarding, profile creation, and the interaction model.
Behavior Mapping — Built IA flows outlining click states, parent/child navigation, error conditions, and real-time interaction loops.
Proximity Logic — Designed how location, shared interests, and triggers surfaced potential matches.
Team Alignment — Provided a visual foundation that aligned stakeholders and allowed engineering to begin early prototyping.

Reviewing the current state
Building the System for a 0-1 Concept
Screen Logic — Delivered the full set of required screens across onboarding, registration, discovery, and user interaction flows.
Interaction Architecture — Documented how screens connected, how users moved through the system, and how real-time events surfaced in the UI.
Prototype Readiness — Provided structures that enabled WeezLabs to adopt key concepts as part of their IP and evolve the product into follow-on work (“Wolfpack”).
Discovery Insights — Clarified what resonated with users, what needed refinement, and how the product should evolve.
