📌 Project: Orion White-Labeled Invoicing App

👤 Role: Sr. Product Designer · B2B SME

🏢 Company: FIS Global (Leading provider of financial services technology)

📆 Timeline: 2021

Focus: Fintech · Invoicing Platforms · White-Label SaaS

🛠 Services: UI · UX · User Research · B2B Strategy

🎯 Impact: Designed Orion, a cross-platform invoicing application for desktop and mobile, simplifying how businesses and customers process payments. Built user-friendly flows for invoice creation, client management, and transaction tracking. Delivered a scalable white-label product intended for licensing by partner banks. Helped FIS expand its portfolio of financial technology offerings by creating a versatile platform that could be adopted across multiple institutions.

FIS believed that all banking institutions should have a B2B application service for sending money to vendors and customers. The design featured a simple branded UI that could be easily customized with company colors and logos, aligning with each bank's identity. With large buttons and intuitive icons, the application ensured ease of use for customers who were less familiar with money management tasks.

Most customers were mobile users who needed an easy-to-use payment system that could be seamlessly updated across web and mobile platforms. This app made entering vendor details, sending or requesting payments, and reviewing transactions or scheduling future payments simple. To guide users through the payment process from start to finish, I included a straightforward linear progress bar and easy to understand messaging to confirm completion.

Outcome: The goal of the application was to present financial data in a format that was easy to scan, while using guided steppers and visual cues to simplify task completion. FIS aimed to create a white-labeled banking app that could be rebranded, customized, and sold to partner banks for broad commercial use.
