As a Sr. Product Design Consultant, I was brought in to develop a white-labeled mobile iOS banking application for Deloitte Digital. My primary focus was on creating the mortgage, brokerage, insights and accounts sections, while updating existing work and adding new features from stakeholders.

I was part of a multidisciplinary design team—including fellow product designers, UI/UX specialists, vendor partners, and developers—tasked with creating COIN, a white-labeled banking app for Deloitte Digital. Working with a familiar team structure allowed me to efficiently prioritize mobile-first design, streamlining the overall process. The goal was to craft an end-to-end experience using design system tokens to reduce rework during development. By focusing on simple, reusable components, I helped maximize personalization throughout the user journey.
While developing COIN, I analyzed leading fintech apps such as Revolut, Monzo, Truebill, and Stash to identify effective usability patterns. I adopted a minimalist approach, focusing on core banking functions like funding accounts, disputing charges, linking external accounts, and purchasing fractional shares. My goal was to reduce friction by minimizing clicks and designing a prescriptive interface that anticipates user intent—creating a seamless, intuitive experience for mobile banking customers.

Using simple rounded corners, flat colors, and modular components created visual space, resulting in a welcoming UI that appeals to younger customers exploring financial products.
By analyzing competitors' end-to-end flows and conducting user testing, we identified pain points to avoid, allowing us to quickly create an improved user experience. When developing a new application, it’s crucial to reduce clicks, interpret user actions, and use predictive text inputs to minimize form fields.
